Red Dirt Film Fest organizers are expecting a record number of visitors to this year ’ s four-day event , March 2-5 at the Seretean Center for Performing Arts in Stillwater . This new collaboration with the Seretean Center and Oklahoma State University has given the fest the resources it needs to begin expansion into other forms of entertainment as organizers work to create the fest as an all-inclusive media event .
The event is open to the public , but each year , the majority of Red Dirt ’ s visitors are arts professionals promoting their work . No Coast Music is chance to introduce Oklahoma ’ s musicians to the state ’ s growing film industry .
“ We hope this will grow , eventually , into the larger type of fests that are out there ,” said Bryan . “ But we are taking our first steps now . This time , it ’ s a small music showcase ; an example of all the local flavors .”
No Coast recently announced that the 2017 lineup of performers includes Joe Mack , Tres Dudes , Aaron Hale and Bethany Keen . Singer / songwriter Tyler Siems has also been added to the evening . The No Coast Music event takes place Friday , March 3 , at Eskimo Joe ’ s , just a block from film showings at the Seretean Center .

TRES DUDES
Tres Dudes is returning to Red Dirt Film to represent the local sound . They are a fourpiece band that plays a mix of original music with strong blues and rock influences , continuing the traditions of Stillwater ’ s red dirt music style .
Aaron Hale is a classically trained singer / songwriter who plays psychedelic , multiinstrumental music . He has performed with Taddy Porter , Holding Space , John Calvin , Elephant Revival and Deerpeople . Hale is currently recording his debut LP WILDFLOWERS & atombombs with Matt Duckworth on drums ( The Flaming Lips , Stardeath and the White Dwarfs , Miley Cyrus ).

BETHANY KEEN
Bethany Keen is a singer / songwriter from Shawnee . Keen ’ s original song “ Hurt People- Amazing Grace ” is featured on the soundtrack to episode three of the award winning series “ Rough Cut ,” which is showing at this year ’ s Red Dirt Film fest .
