During the special board meeting , also held on May 16 , the board approved the conversion of 2.7 mills to inside millage within the 10-mill limitation from a current expense allocation to a permanent improvements allocation to be used in acquiring , constructing , renovating , improving and or satisfying the debt of assets , school property , buildings , and other facilities with an estimated life or usefulness of five years or more , paying salaries and benefits of district personnel who are responsible in maintaining and caring for school property , computers , buses , building and other facilities . The full amendment is available upon request .

The next regular board meeting will be Friday , June 28 , at 7 a . m . at the administrative office , 301 S . Oak St . in West Lafayette .
