Coshocton Regional Medical Center hosted its final backpack packing day on June 11. More than 60 volunteers came in during the two days of packing to complete the 3,600 backpacks needed to supply each pre-K through sixth grade student in Coshocton County and Newcomerstown with a backpack and 10 school supplies.
Volunteers fill backpacks
The Fanatics company in Frazeysburg had more than 30 volunteers on its Global Impact Day. Other volunteers came from Coshocton Public Health, Coshocton County Probate & Juvenile Court, Blue Ridge 4-H Club, Kiwanis, Hopewell School, Roscoe Gardens, United Way and Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
