Coshocton attorney recognized by state bar

Recently, local attorney Michael Manning was formally recognized by the Ohio State Bar Association for having practiced law for 50 years. Attorneys from around Ohio who have practiced law from 50 to 65 years were recognized at a program given by the OSBA in Columbus on May 13.
Manning attended the event with his long time law partner, William M. Owens. Manning and Owens continue to practice law at the same Main Street location where they established their legal partnership in October, 1986. Both were raised in Coshocton County and graduated from Coshocton schools— Manning graduated from Riverview High School and Owens from Coshocton High School.
Both decided to practice law here after graduating law school and passing the Ohio Bar Exam. The primary focus of their law practice is in the areas of probate, estate planning and real estate.
Manning graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law. He and Owens have practiced only in Coshocton their entire legal careers, raised their children here and been active in their support of the community.
Owens graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’ s degree and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the Moritz College of Law, formerly the Ohio State University College of Law. Owens was also recognized in 2023 for having practiced law for 50 years.

These lessons are different in that the instructor will go to each swimmer, instead of teaching as a group. This is to help with the differing communication and other needs of each person. Every swimmer, without exception, must have a responsible adult in the water with
