Farm Bureau holds annual meeting and dinner

The Coshocton County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting and dinner at Heritage Vineyard & Winery on Tuesday , July 18 with a catered meal of meatballs , corn on the cob , cheesy potatoes , salad , rolls , beverages and cookies . The meal was prepared by Schumaker Farms Catering .
Kayla Durbin , current president of the Coshocton County Farm Bureau , called the meeting to order following dinner and asked members to vote on board member nominees , support for OFBF policy recommendations and asked for approval of the minutes from the 2022 annual meeting . The financial report was presented by treasurer Bob Buxton and approved by members in attendance .
Durbin said the Coshocton County Farm Bureau had a successful year with the recent ATV event having 40 participants , the upcoming Dinner on the Farm with Bob Buxton grilling steaks and positive growth of membership during the year .

Tyler Cline received recognition for his efforts to grow membership as the current membership growth
chair , with positive membership growth reported over the past year .
Durbin also said the Ridgewood FFA won the annual Breakfast on the Farm food donation contest and thanked Jeff Drennen Ford for providing a truck to haul the donated food . Teresa Watts of the Farm Bureau office in Zanesville also received recognition and a thank you for her work . Durbin also updated members that the Little Farmers area at the county fair will be moved to the junior fair barn and that the Coshocton Farm Bureau is helping with beef barn improvements .
Delegates to the 2024 National Farm Bureau convention will be Todd Endsley and Luke Durbin , and delegates to the 2023 Ohio Farm Bureau annual meeting are Kayla Durbin , Todd Endsley and Jesse Whinnery . State trustees are Jenny Cox and Kyle Walls . Kayla Jones is the organization director for the
