The Coshocton Christian Tabernacle ’ s live nativity is a tradition for many people . The event was held Friday and Saturday , Dec . 9-10 from 6:30-8:30 p . m . On Friday evening cars began to line up long before the opening time , and by 6:20 p . m ., the line was to U . S . 36 with cars waiting there too . The live nativity shows scenes from the life of Jesus , from a market scene , to the taxpayer , to the inn and stable . There also are scenes from his life as a carpenter , to calming the storm in a boat , to his death and resurrection . The event is always free to the public , and live animals are used in many scenes .
