Junior high girls report scores
The Coshocton Junior High girls basketball teams took on New Lexington on Dec . 5 .
The eighth-graders won 32-26 in overtime , but the seventh-graders lost 46-23 .
CHS varsity falls to West M
Coshocton High School ’ s varsity boys basketball team fell just short of beating West Muskingum in overtime . The final score was 54-52 in favor of the visiting Tornadoes .
Coby Moore led the Redskins with 22 points , Colton Conkle had 12 and JJ Herman had 11 .
CHS swimming
Coshocton High School swimming competed against Ridgewood , Philo , Maysville , Rosecrans and Crooksville on Dec . 7 at The Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium .
Finishing overall individually
for the girls were Emme Jackson in fifth in the 200 free ( 3:08.65 ) and fourth in the 100 free ( 1:25.68 ), Jacie Aronhalt in sixth in both the 200 free ( 3:19.11 ) and 100 free ( 1:27 15 ), Sophia McFadden in first in both the 50 free ( 30.17 ) and 100 free ( 1:11.16 ), Courtney Snyder in second in both the 50 free ( 32.70 ) and 100 back , Lucy Baylor in fourth in the 50 free ( 38.42 ) and second in the 400 free ( 7:00.66 ), Terra Wilcox in eighth in the 50 free and 10th in the 100 free ( 1:47.51 ), Mia Lauvray in ninth in the 50 free and fourth in the 100 free ( 1:58.52 ), Ella Baylor in first in the 100 breaststroke ( 1:25.12 ), Cady Jackson in second in the 100 free ( 1:17.15 ), and Gabriella Wesney in first in the 100 fly ( 1:34.63 ).
The 200 medley relay of Courtney Snyder , Ella Baylor , Cady Jackson and Lucy Baylor placed first ( 2:35.50 ). The 200 free relay “ A ” consisting of Ella Baylor , Cady Jackson , Gabriella Wesney and Sophia McFadden placed first ( 2:14.03 ), and the “ B ” relay of Jacie Aronhalt , Mia Lauvray , Emme Jackson and
Courtney Snyder placed third ( 2:38.60 ). The 400 free “ A ” relay of Gabriella Wesney , Cady Jackson , Ella Baylor and Sophia McFadden placed first ( 5:16 37 ), and the “ B ” relay of Lucy Baylor , Mia Lauvray , Emme Jackson and Jacie Aronhalt placed second ( 6:20.40 ).
For the boys Michael Danielek placed fifth in the 200 free ( 3:23.71 ) and first in the 100 breast ( 1:41.65 ), Trip Mills was eighth in the 50 free ( 40.53 ) and fifth in the 100 free ( 1:37.20 ), Ean Casey was 10th in the 50 free ( 49.88 ) and third in the 100 back ( 1:52.34 ), Anthony Cichon was seventh in the 50 free ( 40.13 ), Jayden Jones was first in the 100 fly ( 1:17.87 ), and Isaih Bronston was seventh in the 100 free ( 1:45.46 ).
The 200 free relay of Ean Casey , Trip Mills , Anthony Cichon and Jayden Jones placed second ( 2:38.30 ). The 400 free relay of Isaih Bronston , Trip Mills , Michael Danielek and Jayden Jones placed second ( 6:10.73 ).

RHS boys relay places first
Ridgewood High School swimming competed Dec . 7 at The Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium . Competing for the girls were Callie McCoy in sixth in the 50 free ( 41.23 ) and fifth in the 100 back ( 2.01.57 ) and Shyanne Patterson in 10th in the 50 free ( 55.49 ) and seventh in the 100 back ( 2:52.40 ).
Swimming for the boys were Logan Fechuch in first in the 50 free ( 31.37 ) and fourth in the 100 back ( 2:01.52 ), Dakota Kealiher in second in the 50 free ( 33.75 ) and second in the 100 breast ( 1:42.66 ), Cohen Miller in sixth in the 50 free ( 35.13 ) and fourth in the 100 free ( 1:25.65 ), and Conner Blakely in ninth in the 100 free ( 41.56 ) and sixth in the 100 free ( 1:39.81 ).
The 200 free relay of Cohen Miller , Conner Blakely , Dakota Kealiher and Logan Fechuch placed first ( 2:24.44 ), and the 400 free relay of Logan Fechuch , Conner Blakely , Cohen Miller and Dakota Kealiher placed third .
Warriors enjoying games at KA
The Warsaw Warriors welcomed the
Wayne County Cagers to their home court at Kids America . The junior high boys came out of the gate swinging and never looked back as they ran away with the win . When the buzzer sounded , the final was 37-19 .
In the varsity boys contest , the Warriors faced a good team with much size and speed . After the first quarter , the Warriors saw themselves down 20-7 . In the second quarter , the Warriors switched up the defense and began to have some success but still trailed 32-18 at the half .
Coming out of the half , the Warriors came out very aggressive and began to knock down some buckets , bringing the

game to 33-30 going into the final quarter . In the fourth quarter , the shots didn ’ t fall , and the Cagers took a very competitive game 43-31 .
Junior high leaders were Noah Hurley with 13 points and four rebounds , Cyrus Deeds with 12 points and four rebounds , and Gavin Gress with eight points and four rebounds . Varsity leaders were Blayden Workman with 12 points and three rebounds , Alex Taylor with nine points and seven rebounds , and Dustin Hall with four points and three rebounds .
