Mural was created in downtown city parking lot

Jaidyn Brink and Eva Miller-Stanton have left their artistic mark on downtown Coshocton .
The young ladies worked with the Pomerene Center for the Arts to create a mural on the city parking lot behind PNC Bank .
“ I ’ ve worked with
Anne Cornell on projects for two years now ,” Brink said . “ We are trying to help revitalize Coshocton with murals . Last year we did one in the artPARK , and this year we are here .”
The new mural is made up of three main pictures representing Coshocton ’ s Apple Butter Stirrin ’ Festival , the canal boat and

the Sunflower Festival . It was funded through the Wendell and Hilde Skelley Memorial Donor Advised Fund at the Coshocton Foundation .
“ We started jotting down ideas and decided we wanted to celebrate Coshocton and its history ,” Brink said . “ We started working on it in July .”

Brink graduated from Coshocton High School in 2022 and is now attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design .
“ I think everyone should have a creative outlet ,” she said . “ Art influences people ’ s lives .”
Miller-Stanton , a senior at CHS , is excited their art will show people what ’ s going on in Coshocton .
“ This was my first time working with the Pomerene ,” she said . “ It ’ s been fun , but it takes a long time to do a mural . Last week we worked nonstop on it .”
Miller-Stanton and Brink also helped the Pomerene with its summer education program for children .
“ Some of them were pretty funny , and they were cute ,” Miller-Stanton said . “ It was fun to do and bring more to the community .”
