Dr. Bahan to be featured at April 15 Coffee with a Doc

Coshocton Public Health District will host the next Coffee with a Doc event on Tuesday, April 15, featuring Dr. Jessica Bahan.
The event topic for April is All Things Brain: Sleep, Eye and Memory Health. The event will be at 11 a. m. at the Coshocton Senior Center, 201 Browns Lane, Coshocton. Parking is available in front of the building. This event is free with no registration required. Free coffee and treats will be available to those attending.
Bahan is originally from Columbus and just recently moved to Coshocton. She spent the last 3 1 / 2 years completing chiropractic school and an internship in Atlanta and

Texas. Before finishing chiropractic school, she completed her master’ s degree in clinical nutrition. She has a passion for women’ s health and children.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dog Gus, spending time with family, cooking and golfing. She is currently practicing at the Five Point Chiropractic Center and is excited to be a part of the Coshocton community.
The health district’ s mission is to ensure equitable access to care, prevent diseases, promote healthy behaviors, and protect the well-being and health environment for all community members. By offering this event each month, the health district is gaining insight to what is truly needed by the adult population in Coshocton County.

4-H member organizing May 31 health fair at fairgrounds

Nick’ s Health Fair, a 4-H leadership / challenge for the Staying Healthy Project, will take place Saturday, May 31 from noon to 3 p. m. at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds.
“ I would like to make my health fair for people and animals because we all need to be healthy,” Nickolas Royal said.“ I would like it if you could help me by participating in my health fair by setting up a booth, doing a demonstration, doing sports physicals, having a display, or providing some information on how to keep everyone or their animals healthy or fit.”
A raffle with items to encourage those who attend to get healthy will be offered. Royal also is looking for donations toward his efforts.
