COMMITTED

August, we spent the first semester getting to know each other. Now, as a teacher who is aware of what she can do in the 2nd term, let’ s talk about the work I want to realize by creating different committees.
Innovation Workshops can be held. Technology-focused workshops such as coding, robotics, 3D design or artificial intelligence can be organized to offer students the opportunity to think about a particular problem, develop creative ideas and produce solutions. Students should be provided with an environment to work on creative solution-based projects focusing on issues such as environmental problems, health and social equality.
Creative Project Competitions can be organized. To support innovative ideas and allow students to produce original solutions, topics such as“ Designing the School of the Future”,“ Sustainable Living Solutions” or“ Solving Social Problems with Technology” can be chosen as competition themes.
Career and Innovation Fairs can be held. It can be considered for students to get to know different professions and learn innovation processes. Talks and panels can be organized by inviting local entrepreneurs, scientists and technology leaders to the school. A platform can be created where students can exhibit their projects in the school environment.
Entrepreneurship Club and Mentoring Programs can be opened. Students can be informed and encouraged about entrepreneurship through weekly meetings to develop their entrepreneurial skills and enable them to implement their own projects. Mentoring support can be obtained from local entrepreneurs. A budget can be created that will allow students to turn their ideas into real projects.
Innovation Conferences can be organized. Students’ spirit of innovation can be strengthened with inspiring speakers.
