Successful entrepreneurs and scientists can be invited as speakers. Discussions can be held about the future of technology and innovation.
Interdisciplinary Projects can be carried out. Interdisciplinary projects can be planned by bringing together teachers from different courses in order to produce creative solutions by combining information from different fields.
The In-School Innovation Fund can be separated. A committee can be formed, and applications can be evaluated to support innovative ideas of students and teachers. Resources can be provided for selected projects and support them to be implemented.
3. What is the role of students in the innovation process and how do you plan to involve them?
Students have a critical role in the innovation process, because the creativity, original ideas and technological predisposition of young individuals can be the driving force of this process. Involving students in this process both supports their individual development and contributes to creating an innovative culture in the school.
* We can encourage students to produce solutions to real-world problems to improve their Problem-Solving Competencies. For this, students can be encouraged to work as a team on a problem and develop creative solutions.
* Idea development and solution generation processes can be planned to ensure Design Thinking.
* Participation in Decision Making Processes can be encouraged. Students can have a say in the planning and implementation stages of innovation strategies at school.
* Student Representation: Innovation committees can be create to enable students to share their ideas.
* Idea Panels can be held. Workshops can be organized where students from different age groups come together and make suggestions.
* Students can be enabled to use technology effectively. With Coding and Robotics Clubs, we can offer students the opportunity to develop technology-oriented projects.
* We can guide students in areas such as developing Digital Projects, digital art works or STEM projects.
* Support can be provided to students to gain entrepreneurial spirit. For example, establishing mini companies can be thought of as students implementing their own projects and experiencing business processes.
* Idea Development competitions can be organized. Competitions can be organized where students can present their innovative projects.
* Mentoring and Collaborations can be explored. Students can have the opportunity to develop their ideas by being guided by teachers and experts.
* Joint projects can be carried out with local businesses, universities or non-governmental organizations.
4. What do you think about how innovation in schools affects and can improve the learning and teaching processes of students and teachers?
Innovation in schools can make the learning and teaching processes of both students and teachers more dynamic, effective and meaningful. It goes beyond traditional methods
