Interview with our General Coordinator and High School Principal, Hülya KORKUT
1. If you were an entrepreneur, what innovations would you like to make?
As an educator, I actually cannot think of myself outside the education sector. Therefore, if I were an entrepreneur, my priority would be to develop innovative solutions in the field of education. I would especially consider creating learning platforms that can be adapted to the individual needs of each student, that are based on everyone discovering their own learning paths and make effective use of technology. In addition, I would like to develop projects that will enable students to gain creative problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills that will be necessary throughout their lives. I have always dreamed of developing innovative methods to increase equality in education and ensure that more children can access quality education. In our country, such initiatives generally proceed in the form of competitions. In a time when the internet is so easily accessible, both students and schools should initiate more projects. I believe that in the rapidly changing world, these projects will develop and turn into new business ideas.
2. If you were to organize activities and organizations that would encourage innovation within the education system, what would they be?
There are already many organizations on this subject on the international platform. I would also like to organize the events I witnessed with my students. Since I joined my new school in
