Outline the top and bottom of your
bauble using a Wilton 2 tip and outline
consistency royal icing. Leave a thick
band in the middle.
Whilst the outline is still wet,
immediately flood the outlined
sections using white flood consistency
and Wilton tip 3. Use a toothpick to help
move the icing into all of the spaces.
Whilst the white is still wet and using
flood consistencies for red and green,
drop in spots using a Wilton tip 2. In this
tutorial I have used 4 parts Americolor
Super Red mixed with 1 part Americolor
Burgundy for the red colour and 1 part
Americolor Avocado mixed with 1 part
Wilton leaf green for the green colour.
Leave the cookie to dry in front of a fan
for about 45 minutes - enough time for
the top to crust over.
Fill in the band in either red or green
using an outline consistency on the edge
(Wilton tip 2) and flood consistency for
the filling (Wilton tip 3). Leave to dry in
front of a fan for 2-3 hours.
