10 THE CHARBONNEAU VILLAGER March 2020 Boys and Girls Aid By ZOE NIKLAS The Cypress Branch Invites you to attend This year is our 18th annual Crab and Rib Dinner. This event brings the community together to raise critical funds to NIKLAS support the chil- dren served by Boys and Girls Aid. This year’s Crab and Rib Dinner will be held Saturday, March 14, at the Charbonneau Golf Club. The evening will include a highly cu- rated silent auction, as well as a live program featuring speakers who will share stories of how Boys and Girls Aid impacted their lives. This is the magic of Boys and Girls Aid when a child’s life is saved. It is this miracle that moti- vates the Cypress Branch to support Boys and Girls Aid. Generous contribu- tions of time and money are how this group “passes it forward.” Each year, this event sells out with more than 200 guests in attendance. All proceeds from the Crab and Rib Dinner benefit the youth and children served by Boys and Girls Aid. Last year, the event raised just over $70,000. The event is an incredible ex- ample of the community coming to- gether. (Company donations and spon- sorships are a big help).
