Background Founded in 1972, ReFocus grew from one of Rhode Island’ s first group homes into a network offering residential, community-based and self-directed services, empowering individuals through innovation, independence and inclusion for over five decades.

Plan International is an independent, nonprofit organization advancing children’ s rights and equality for girls. We work with young people, supporters and partners to tackle the root causes of poverty, violence and discrimination. We won’ t stop until we are all equal.
