Communities for People( CFP) equips children and families impacted by the foster care system with the tools and resources they need to achieve independence and build fulfilling lives in our community.
Background Founded in 1976, Communities for People supports over 1,700 youth and families annually with residential care, foster care, independent living, life-skills coaching and therapeutic services, helping young people thrive with compassionate, community-based support and guidance.

Mission Statement
Save The Bay’ s mission is to protect and improve Narragansett Bay and its 1,705-square-mile watershed. Through advocacy, education and habitat restoration, the organization works toward its vision of a fishable, swimmable Narragansett Bay, accessible to all.
Background Concerned citizens founded Save The Bay in 1970 after defeating a series of proposals that threatened Narragansett Bay. Their work began a tradition of grassroots advocacy that remains core to our work today.
brag lines 75,000 guests visited Save The Bay’ s Hamilton Family Aquarium in Newport during its first year of operation. Additionally, over nine weeks, Save The Bay staff offered twenty-six public camps for 614 campers in various age groups from kindergarten through high school.
