THE ACTS November 2013 English | Page 17

When God led the Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years, their clothes did not wear out and their sandals were as they were on the first day of their journey. Even after the Israelites witnessed all the miracles, they could not understand them. We cannot understand the miracles with a physical heart. A spiritual heart only knows God and understands things that are not natural but supernatural. It is not in the act of attending the church, being baptized or celebrating the festivals that we can comprehend God but only by identifying the blessing of God in our family. We should be able to see things as those that are supposed to be and not as what they appear. And we should think whether impossible things are possible. The Israelites did not ponder on how their clothes and shoes could remain without being worn out for 40 years. But we should perceive the things in a manner that has not been done till now. God is ready to give us more ability than a natural man has. So, we should have such a receiving heart. These 12 representatives go to Canaan, the land that flowed with milk and honey which God promised to the Israelites. NUMBERS 13 : 1 – 2 says, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, everyone a ruler among them. NUMBERS 13 : 17 – 20 says, And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain: And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many; And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in The Acts November 2013 15
