tents, or in strong holds; And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes. Thus, according to the above verse, God says that He will give them the Promised Land in whatever state it might be. Because it is God who gives. No matter whatever the situation we are in, we should not fear, as we are the Sons of God. There may be many people on the earth and many Christians who are weak, but that should not bother us. For God said that He would provide and we are to focus only on His power. This is an example of an understanding heart. NUMBERS 13 : 28 says, Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. NUMBERS 13 : 30 – 31 says, And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. Here the 10 rulers are saying that they are no match to the very powerful people who live in Canaan. These Israelites speak like ordinary people forgetting the power of their God. But Caleb says that their power is enough. He says that no matter how strong the enemies might be, they have the living God with them. For Caleb remembered the God who led them in the wilderness for 40 years. He did not forget the power of God, who protected them as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. He knew the ability of God. He says that with the help of God they could possess the land that the Amalekites were dwelling in. Likewise, we who are reading this message should also praise, worship God and believe that we can win every problem through faith. We should move forward 16 The Acts November 2013 confessing and believing that God will walk before us and give us Victory. We will have an answer before us! What does Paul say in the New Testament? He declares, ‘I can do all things through Christ.” Christ is able, but we have to check if we are ready or not. The job that we did not receive will definitely come. The incurable disease will be cured. And lack will turn into abundance! NUMBERS 13 : 30 says, And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. To whom is Caleb comparing himself? Is Caleb considering his own strength? Or is he talking, taking into consideration God’s power? These are the words that know the power of God. Caleb is showing his ability by believing that together with his power, even God’s spiritual power will be added. Just like Caleb, we also should strengthen ourselves be believing that we possess the Spirit of God. What does the world say? They complain that they do not have something’s, they are poor, their status is low etc. But we are the children of God. The God whom Caleb believed in is our rock of strength. In order to be transformed into the image of God, the faith of Caleb is a sign. This gives us authority over all.
