The Holy Spirit blesses us with three things, an understanding heart, eyes that see and ears that hear. Let us analyse the importance of an understanding heart. We love our children and our family with our heart and it is the heart which is hurt when
someone says something that is hurtful. All these happen in the heart but it is only physical.
The state of a spiritual heart is to be able to hear and understand Spiritual things. It is God’s will that we should listen to His word,
comprehend his ability, understand spiritual things and be transformed into His image. Thus, an understanding heart, ears that
hear and eyes that see are very important which the Israelites did not receive from God.
DEUTERONOMY 29 : 5 says, And I have led you forty years in the wilderness : your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy
shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
