Team Golf: Team Golf continues to grow and has developed into one of the most popular tournament programs
offered by the Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour. In 2012, NTPGA staff has clearly defined Team Golf as a
beginning level program and tournaments are available only to junior golfers with beginning level golf and
tournament experience. Those players who participate in Team Golf and develop their skills beyond the target
beginning level player are being encouraged to advance in the NTPGA Junior Tour levels of competition and
participate in individual stroke play tournaments. In 2012, the tournament schedule expanded from 18
tournaments primarily at Brookhaven Country Club, to 31 tournaments conducted at three host site facilities;
Brookhaven Country Club, Sherrill Park Golf Course and Pecan Valley Golf Course. There are now 36 active
Teams competing in Team Golf.
