OPINION
CHLOE CLOVER, WANDER FILMS, TEES BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR 2021 Winning Tees Businesswoman of the Year was wild! It gave me( and Wander) a serious boost in confidence, credibility and connections.
If you’ re building something special or know someone who’ s killing it, absolutely enter or nominate. These awards are about celebrating ambition, graft and each other. If you’ re running a business, leading a team or part of something super cool, back yourself. Honestly, what’ s the worst that could happen?
KIMBERLEY TURNER, DOUBLE ELEVEN, TEES BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR 2022
The Tees Businesswomen Awards is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible achievements of businesswomen across the Tees Valley. It’ s a chance to highlight the unique contribution females bring to the business sector, offering a different dynamic in terms of leadership, skills and impact.
I was honoured to be crowned Tees Businesswoman of the Year 2022. To be recognised by your peers is a very proud and humbling experience- winning provided me with a platform to inspire and encourage our region’ s young women and girls to aim high and strive for excellence, showing gender should never be a barrier in achieving your dreams.
CATHI HARRISON, VERVE GROUP, TEES BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR 2023 I’ d actively encourage anyone considering applying for the Tees Businesswomen Awards to do so.
The chance to step back, assess all the good you have achieved and commit that to an entry is valuable time spent in itself. The potential in addition to also end up in a room full of fabulous North- East women is an extra bonus!
DANIELLE CROCE, INTASITE, TEES BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR 2024 Being named Tees Businesswoman of the Year was an incredibly proud moment – not just for me, but for my whole team. It brought valuable recognition, created new opportunities and, most importantly, gave me a platform to use for good. I’ ve tried to use that platform to support and encourage others, and I hope it helps inspire young girls – and all children – to believe they can achieve great things, no matter the path they choose.
If you’ re thinking of entering or nominating someone, do it – it’ s a powerful way to celebrate and elevate the brilliant women in our region.
