WORKSPACE DEMAND ON THE RISE AT UKSE INNOVATION CENTRE
UKSE , the Tata Steel business support subsidiary , is experiencing growing demand for the offices and workspace at its Innovation Centre in Hartlepool .
Regional manager Sarah Thorpe said : “ Our team here in the northern region is being kept busy as 2023 draws to a close , not only with businesses coming to us for investment but also by those needing more workspace and the facilities we provide at our two Innovation Centres on Teesside .
“ Currently , companies involved in construction , lettings , education and property are looking to join the 50 tenants we already house at Hartlepool , covering sectors as diverse as software , cable services , design , finance and healthcare .
“ Being part of a supportive business community at cost-effective rates , with access to facilities such as meeting rooms , a manned reception , ample free parking and high-speed communications , is attracting the new tenants .”
CSI Training is one of the latest to arrive at the centre on Queens Meadow Business Park .

plans to expand after moving to the UKSE Centre .
The company provides training and unique corporate events to police forces , fire services , health trusts , schools , universities and companies in a whole range of sectors .
Angela and Dionne , both former crime scene investigators with Northumbria Police , met at Teesside University .
As consultants , they also travel to air disaster scenes around the world , including Ethiopia , South America and Europe .
“ The Innovation Centre gives us everything we need ,” said Angela . “ It ’ s an ideal location with one of us living in Redcar and the other in Hebburn and having the UKSE team on hand is a real support .”
