GE Renewable Energy is supplying wind turbines to Dogger Bank Wind Farm located between 130km and 190km off the North-East coast .
The project will be the world ’ s largest offshore wind farm once all three phases are complete in 2026 .

First offering 10 apprenticeship places at the college , with a mix of level 3 and level 4 qualifications , the quality and quantity of the applications quickly saw them increase to 14 .
Diana Mehta , Materials Processing Institute The Materials Processing Institute has appointed Diana Mehta as group manager for the circular economy .
She joins the Teesside-based Institute from former start-up Britishvolt where she was a principal scientist , leading an 11-strong research , innovation and materials team , focusing on battery technology for applications in electric vehicles .
Diana will lead the development of innovations that maximise resource efficiency through manufacturing and process optimisation .
The group focuses on extracting value from waste , identifying technologies and recovering materials that reduce resource consumption , while also reducing waste generation .

Anne Cooling , Butterwick Hospice Care Anne Cooling has returned to Butterwick Hospice Care as director of income generation .
Anne , who has a long association with the Stockton-based hospice , returned this year , not long after Edward Gorringe joined as chief executive .
Support from the business community has been vital in enabling the hospice to operate over the years .
It has to find £ 3.5m every year to be able to run the two centres in Stockton and Bishop Auckland .
The Butterwick Hospice Care movement was launched in 1984 by inspirational Stockton mum-of-four Mary Butterwick OBE .
