The bar area , which had served its purpose for many years , had a well-earned facelift . Styled developed a new design featuring custom-built brass shelving for drinks and glassware , with a bronzed mirrored wall , marble worktops and an oak cladded frontage . The modern cladding was carried through onto the large supporting columns dotted throughout the space , while pendant lighting was also added above the bar and around the columns at varying heights .
The previous design lacked atmosphere but the new lighting has transformed that , instantly making the room feel more inviting and ambient .
One of the key considerations for the suite was how both guests and staff flowed around the room . The most significant problem with the old suite was the lack of space when at full capacity . To solve this , the Styled team decided to use a variety of table sizes to help maximise the space . Bespoke booth seating was built into the large windows which offered the club a premium seating option for their hospitality guests while also being a great space saving solution .
The project had an incredibly tight deadline – just eight weeks from start to finish – so the pressure was on to complete it in time . Being a commercial project , each piece of furniture had to be made bespoke to fit the space and meet regulations . Getting the full design , furniture , fixtures and equipment , procurement , delivery and install completed added a layer of complexity to the project .
To achieve the redesign within the timeframe , the Styled team worked with local companies and subcontractors for the works , including everything from
decorating , bespoke joinery , the new bar area and the furniture .
