At the end of my freshman year, I decided I needed another year of practice, so I did not audition and I remained in the beginners choir, which was still amazing! So my sophomore year, I auditioned to make the higher choirs, however I didn't move up at all. I didn't even make varsity. I was crushed, and absolutely devastated. For a while, I didn't think I wanted to sing ever again. I told myself I was not good enough to be a performer, or to sing in general, however I stayed in choir because I loved the class and the teacher. So my junior year, I had worked harder on my singing and theory than I had ever done before, and at the end of the year, I decided to risk it and audition for the top two choirs.
