Inspire Us

The suspense of finding out which choirs I would be in for my senior year was destroying me. I had anxiety about it and was super stressed out. Finally, the day that the list of choirs were posted, I was nervous and afraid. I kept telling myself "you didn't move up,

Don't get your hopes up."

Hesitantly, I walked over to the list, and didn't see my name on the varsity choir list. "Great, I didn't move up. " I thought. But then, I looked at the list for chamber and ssa (top choirs) and to my surprise and shock, I MADE IT!!! After three years of dedication and practice, I made it.

I remember bawling my eyes out because I was so happy and shocked. I just cried as my friend hugged me, I couldn't believe it. I was so happy. It was in that moment that I had realized that in life, there will always be set backs, but it is important to never give up on something you're passionate about.
