SECTION SEVEN Business analysis SWOT analysis of business proposal: Strengths • Georgia Toffolo fits the brand image really well. • She is a kind, likable, funny, friendly and down to earth person which is not always what you might expect from someone who comes from a higher-class background. • As a brand, Ted Baker are extremely good at keeping up to date with technology and always use it to their advantage. I believe this will be very beneficial when looking to target a new market. • The brand has a signature style and although the range is targeting at a younger market it will be in keeping with the brands style and therefore should still appeal to their already loyal customers. Opportunities • • • • Ted Baker have never done a collaboration like this before. The collaboration could be promoted on the show Made in Chelsea. This collaboration could give Ted Baker the opportunity to broaden their target market and gain new customers. The brand has the opportunity to be promoted y not only Georgia Toffolo, but it is also likely that other stars from the show will promote her range in support of her. Weaknesses • • Georgia Toffolo is not extremely well-known unlike some other fashion influencers, so this could result in the range not being overly successful. As Georgia Toffolo is of a high class and comes from a wealthy background, this could make her un-relatable to some people. However, I do not find that she flaunts her high class or wealth, so this opinion would be based on the fact she is on a show about high class lifestyles in Chelsea.
