L’ automazione innanzitutto « Il fattore chiave è stata l’ automazione; vi basti sapere che il primo robot di saldatura Panasonic è stato acquistato nel 2000 e da lì è nato tutto poiché necessitava di ripetibilità, precisione e qualità delle lavorazioni a tutto vantaggio dell’ assemblaggio finale delle strutture, nel caso specifico dei cassonetti. percorso diverse esigenze e richieste e il poter contare su una diversificazione degli impianti, sia come tecnologia che, come tipo di soluzione, ti assicura quella versatilità necessaria a soddisfare praticamente tutti i potenziali lavori. In questo discorso un aspetto fondamentale è la programmazione da ufficio tecnico perché ti consente di andare a eliminare praticamente tutti i tempi morti sulle macchine ». When I was asked to create a video case history for Perano Spa, I immediately accepted with enthusiasm, partly for the pleasure of reuniting with Bruno— the founder of the company with whom I have developed a true friendship over the years— and partly for the technological relevance of this company based in Peveragno, near Cuneo. Walking through the company ' s warehouses and production departments means retracing, step by step, an evolutionary journey made up of far-sighted investments where the automation of sheet metal working processes continues to be the guiding principle of development and growth. With the support of his family, in particular his nephew Davide, Bruno continues to lead the company with the same entrepreneurial vision that has inspired him since 1990.
MUTUAL TRUST AND ONGOING INVESTMENTS Perano operates in the steelwork sector and is a somewhat atypical subcontractor specialising in sheet metal machining in a market where production batches are extremely variable, ranging from a few dozen pieces to much larger production runs of a very specific product type— i. e. the waste sorting bins manufactured for a single customer that distributes them throughout Italy and world-wide. " We took over the production of their containers and as the product evolved, their needs changed and we followed this evolution, making the choices we considered best for them, but also for our business," explains an excited Bruno.
