It was a great few days especially as my dad was
chauffered around for a change & my mum who had been
very ill, was well enough to come out and enjoy the car.

The RMS marketing team and PR Company have
been working hard to get us some decent press
coverage on various blogs, social media sites,
retail publications both on and offline and we are
even hoping for a mention in a national paper.
Watch this space!
There is a broad range of subjects that we
have covered including eCommerce for fashion
retailers, payment options for SME businesses
and why SMEs should consider an independent
provider over their bank. All of this should go
some way to building the profile of our brand and
reputation as well and our website is growing into
a valuable information source for those looking us
up in advance of an appointment or following a
visit from a BDM.
You will notice we have also installed Trustpilot
onto our website and already have achieved an
overall rating above 7/10 with limited reviews so far.
As is always the case with these things, customers
are far more inclined to post a review following a
negative experience than a positive one, the latter
being the case that things are running smoothly
and customers are busy running their business!
So, in order to paint a true representation of Retail
Merchant Services, we are doing a monthly draw
to win an iPad for ALL customers who post a
review. This could go some way in encouraging
reviews and it’s a very simple process. The email
we send has a form to complete with no sign up
required. We are currently sending our requests
from Customer Services which is drip feeding
the reviews but in order to speed things up, It’s
a CALL TO ARMS to everyone, particularly BDMs
as we really need your help to drive the number
of positive reviews up, which in turn will provide
you with a great place to refer potential customers
to, even at POS on your iPads! Who is the best
salesperson at RMS in the eyes of our customers?
Now that really is the question. We’ll be running
a competition and the person who achieves the
most customer reviews (be it a Customer Services
Advisor or BDM) will be awarded a RMS Customer
Champion Award at the summer conference and a
mystery prize! Better get on it then….
