• Days not worked during your initial or terminal week of employment ;
• Penalties imposed in good faith for infractions of safety rules of major significance ; or
• For any increments of time taken as unpaid leave under FMLA .
We will make sure that any such deductions will be in full compliance with the wage and hour regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act ( FLSA ).
You should carefully review every paystub you receive . If you think a deduction has been improperly taken from your salary , you should notify Human Resources as soon as possible . We will review the deduction promptly and if a deduction was made improperly , we will immediately correct the error .
If you have other questions concerning why deductions were made from your paycheck or how they were calculated , ask your supervisor for assistance .
