TEAM MEMBER BENEFITS AND LEAVE OF ABSENCE PROGRAMS
After First Year
The accrual rate for vacation time increases on key anniversary dates ( listed below ). For example , after your second anniversary of employment , the vacation accrual rate increases to 120 hours ( three weeks ), and you will receive those three weeks on your third anniversary date . Similarly , in the ninth year of employment , the vacation accrual rate increases to 160 hours ( four weeks ), and you will receive those four weeks on your tenth anniversary date . As a reminder , if you are a non-exempt hourly team member , you could earn up to 160 hours , but only based on your actual regular hours worked .

Vacation Time Usage
The amount of vacation time you receive when a day of work is missed will be paid out based on the hours you are scheduled to work on the day in question .
The minimum increment of time that vacation can be used in is one-hour increments .
Vacation pay in advance of the vacation will not be granted . Cash payments will not be authorized in lieu of vacation , except in cases where you are switching from full-time to parttime status , and in our sole discretion .
All vacation hours must be used before any time off without pay is granted . If you are eligible for a leave of absence , such as Federal Leave ( FMLA ), you must use all available vacation hours .
Scheduling Vacation Time
Vacations are generally to be taken during our spring pause unless your department works during this time . Administration , Grounds , Engineering , Housekeeping , and various management positions typically work during the spring pause . Team Members with additional vacation time and those who work during the spring pause may take their vacation at a time mutually agreed upon by the Team Member and their supervisor .
Team Members must complete and submit a vacation request before booking a vacation . Management reserves the right to approve or deny requests for vacation or other time off based on anticipated business needs , staffing levels , and the Team Member ’ s disciplinary status .
Vacation Time and End of Employment
Upon the cessation of employment , Team Members are typically paid their unused vacation time , excluding any carry over balance . Unused vacation time will also not be paid out in any of the following circumstances :
• you fail to provide at least two weeks ’ notice of your resignation ,
• you violate any policies or work rules or fail to satisfactorily complete your work during the resignation notice period , as determined in our sole discretion ,
