6. Inductive vs. Deductive method The main difference between the deductive method and inductive is that deductive focuses more on giving for example a hypothesis and lets students to think about a possible answer. Inductive method is the method in which the theory is the main base of it, and the teacher is the one who gives the definition about something, on the contrary of deductive that students do a research by themselves. Reflection: Deductive method seems to me as a better method than inductive, because with the deductive method, students criticism becomes more awake and also they can express their thoughts about the topic, what they believe is wrong or correct. In the case of inductive method, students can get bored with the theory explanation, we have to remember that students need visual references to get interested in a topic. Both methods have their specific moments to be used but when it comes to giving a class, deductive would be better.
