ARTSAKH : 5 YEARS OF IMPACT
September 2022 marked Teach For Armenia ’ s five year anniversary of operating in Artsakh , a significant milestone we are proud of , particularly when considering the challenges faced there since the 2020 war . While Artsakh ' s security and political status remain uncertain , we are fully committed to supporting the region and our partner communities no matter what challenges may come their and our collective way , as part of our wider vision of country-wide transformation in Armenia and Artsakh .
To highlight our accomplishments , the Artsakh Regional Team worked closely with the Public Partnerships Team to publish a five year report on our operations in the region , covering :
● Placement and resettlement
● Events , discussions , and forums held in Artsakh
● Emergency education and emergency response efforts
● In-person summer camps
● Financial investments
We planned to celebrate our collective achievements in Artsakh with an in-person event in December 2022 , however the blockade of the region , which is on-going at the time of writing , has forced us to postpone the event temporarily .
