“ As a former Teacher-Leader and now Head of the Southern Region , it is my pleasure to cultivate an environment for new Teacher-Leaders where they can reflect on why they are with Teach For Armenia , why they are doing what they do , and ultimately show them that the effort and care they put into their time in the classroom every day will transform the lives of their students .“
Margarita Khamoyan Head of Southern Region
“ I found Teach For Armenia , or , more precisely , Teach For Armenia found me , when two Teacher-Leaders from the pioneering first cohort came to teach in the village of Katnarat in the Lori region , where I was living after graduating from university . Their presence inspired me to become a Teacher-Leader myself , and after completing the two year program I continued working with Teach For Armenia , first as Content Designer and Evaluator , and now as a Leadership Development Manager . Today , I have the distinct pleasure of coaching a group of bright Teacher-Leaders who , I am sure , will help unlock the potential of Armenia ’ s schools .”
