To achieve Seroond ’ s vision , we have designed a school model that promotes leadership at every level :

Track 1 : Student Leadership

AIM : Pilot teaching practices that encourage students to grow as leaders who drive change in their communities .

Track 2 : Teacher Leadership

AIM : Open Teach For Armenia ’ s Leadership Development Program to existing teachers ( i . e . “ Seroond Teachers ”), with support from our staff and Alumni-Ambassadors .

Track 3 : School Leadership

AIM : Create opportunities for our Alumni-Ambassadors to deepen their instructional practice and grow as school leaders .
Through the pilot , eight existing teachers and a teacher ’ s assistant were selected to participate as Seroond Teachers . During the mid-year review process , six of the eight teachers scored 80 / 100 points on a rubric designed to measure their progress . Participants were assessed in 15 categories such as : Student-Centered Discipline , Cooperative Learning , Self-Assessment and Self-Reflection , Planning , Active and Reflective Listening , as well as Lesson Engagement .
