impact on adult women and teenagers, but also pre-teens. However, it was so difficult to know where to begin because we honestly wanted to conquer the world overnight. We decided to take things slow and begin with developing a Facebook page to promote our mission and try to get as many people on board as we could. The Pixie Power Fitness page launched and within 24 hours had over 100 followers. Neither of us ever thought that anyone would care about what we were doing, but we were so wrong; the numbers kept climbing every single day! Women would comment to me that they were so inspired by how positive and uplifting both Pam and I were, and they loved that we were so close and supportive. I believe that they can really see our love for one another and our passion to help others. I am so lucky to have Pam in my life, and this company would not be what it is today without the strong bond that the two of us share. Pixie Power Fitness is a reflection of our bond; we are here to lift others up and push them out of their comfort zone to achieve their dreams. Using what we have learned in the program, Pam and I have been able to successfully create Pixie Power Fitness. We are both certified fitness instructors and offer classes several times a week. We have also been invited to participate in family health fairs, teach at a sorority, and work with girls to help improve their self-image, and we are currently planning day camps for pre-teens to help them learn that empowerment leads to success; there is no reason to knock others down during your pursuit of success. By taking the time to help make myself healthy, I would, in turn, be helping my family, and they wouldn’t be neglected in turn. I married my high school sweetheart at the age of 20, and he has always supported anything that I did, whether I was a size 14/16 or a size 4/6. I spoke with him and told him how unhappy I was, and he encouraged me to do whatever I needed to do to help myself. My starting weight was between 180 and 185 pounds, and my goal
