Alex Haggin (Ensemble) Alex
is native to Cedar Rapids, new to
TCR, but no stranger to the
spotlight. He helped keep
McKinley’s Classic Edition show
choir undefeated in 2014 &
2015. As a freshman at
Washington High School, he
joined another amazing talented
group known as Vivace, and
looks forward to the next three
years of show choir. Vibrant,
fun-loving, and driven by his
passion for the performing arts,
Alex brings a tremendous amount
of pride and joy to his family and
friends for being brave enough to
follow his dreams.
Erin Helm (Mersister Arista)
Erin is excited to be on the TCR
stage with her friends once
again. You may have seen her
before in Avenue Q (Bad Idea
Bear), A Chorus Line (Mikki),
Shrek the Musical (Blind Mouse),
or Les Misérables (Ensemble).
Erin would like to thank her
directors and cast mates as well
as a special thank you to her
family - it’s always for you.
Marcia Hughes (Ursula)
Marcia is proud to be part of this
wonderful company for her first
TCR show. She has appeared
with Riverside Theatre, Old
Creamery Theatre, City Circle
Acting Company, Cedar Rapids
Opera Theatre, and Iowa City
Community Theatre; her favorite
past roles include Patsy Cline
(Always, Patsy Cline), Mama
Rose (GYPSY), Miss Mona (Best
Little Whorehouse in Texas),
Queen Aggravain (Once Upon
a Mattress), Very Charles
(MAME), and Mother Superior
(Nunsense). Off stage, Marcia
manages communications and
volunteer services for the Cedar
Rapids School District. “Love to
Scot, Spencer, Katie, and Luke.”
Elizabeth Kimmel
(Ensemble) This is Elizabeth’s
first performance at TCR and
she’s excited to be a “part of this
world”. Elizabeth has performed
in the Follies the last two years
as a singer-dancer. Her
performance history is too long
to list, performing since she was
three years old. Lots of thanks
to her fiancé, Jason for being
supportive and taking care of the
house while she goes to
rehearsal.
