Briar Kleeman (Chef Louis/
Ensemble) Briar is thrilled to be
in her second show at TCR. She
made her TCR debut last spring
in Mary Poppins. When she’s not
practicing her French accent, she
loves to spend her time riding her
bike, reading, and cuddling with
her dog.
Benjamin R. LaFayette
(Scuttle) Ben’s theater career
has been taking flight at TCR.
Previous credits include Brian
(Avenue Q), Santa (A Christmas
Story, The Musical), Arnold (The
Boys Next Door; Giving Tree
Theater), Sticks Pig (Shrek, The
Musical), Judas (Jesus Christ
Superstar), Sammy (The
Wedding Singer) and he has
written two plays for TCR’s
Underground New Play Festival
(Peepers and The Last Rodeo).
On the side, Ben fights crime on
the internet, and enjoys
spending time with his favorite
Disney Princess, Meg. Special
thanks to family, friends, TCR
Staff, and the theater community
for their love and support.

Sophie Lindwall (Mersister
Adella) Sophie is thrilled to
be back on the Theatre Cedar
Rapids stage. A 7th grader at
Franklin Middle School, Sophie
also has played Little Fiona/
Baby Bear in Shrek, the Musical,
Little Cosette in Les Misérables,
and Tootie in Meet Me in St.
Louis at TCR. This season she has
enjoyed being part of Revival
Theatre Company’s Parade and
the 35th Cedar Rapids Follies:
I’m Still Here. She appreciates
support from her family, friends,
and voice teacher, Rob Nassif.
She would like to thank Casey,
Becca, Alvon, and Ben for this
wonderful opportunity. “Enjoy
the show!”
Brandon Maynard
(Ensemble) Brandon is a 6th
grader at McKinley Middle
School. You might have seen
him in TCR’s The Wizard of Oz,
Miracle on 34th Street, and the
Underground New Play Festival.
He was also Jaq in RHCR’s
production of Disney’s Cinderella
last year. When not on stage,
Brandon sings in the show choir
and plays board games with his
family. He really loves being in
Disney’s The Little Mermaid and
hopes you enjoy this magical
show.
