message from the president
It’s been a great honor to serve as your president this year. My goal was to improve our value for your membership investment by increasing services, bringing back some of our great events and working on key issues that affect our industry. With your help, we’ve achieved that goal and have grown the association by almost 300 members. I’d like to thank all my committee leaders, my fellow board member, my executive team and the staff for all they have done to make this such a great year for me, it’s an experience I will treasure.
Although I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as your president, I’m looking forward to seeing what our new leaders will achieve in the years to come and wish them all the best as we turn the page and start a new chapter.
I hope you will join me in my last official meeting as your president on October 23rd for the Installation and Awards event at Lowry Park Zoo. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your president and wish you much success in the coming year.

As part of a builders association, many of our members are involved in a variety of industry related activities. The effort and results are positive and all contribute toward a major goal: the develoment of our community. Hillsborough County recently began a project "Imagine Hillsborough 2040". The project provides a way for the community to submit feedback online. The online site also is a resource for sharing ideas, projections and growth strategies.
