Five minutes of friendly conversation is more valuable than two weeks worth of links to your latest affiliate account. The more genuine you are, the more valuable your connections will be. This goes for outsourcing too. If your marketing team is 100% responsible for your social media it is time to reevaluate an get the rest of your crew on board.

Guidedogs

October has been a busy month for

the remodelers. The past two

Saturdays members have dedicated

their extra time and resources to restore two Bocce Ball Courts in Ybor, courts used for charity fundraising tournaments like the Southeastern Guidedogs. Two courts were reframed, tilled, weeded and leveled. The Southeastern Guidedogs group is grateful for the council's hard work and the council is proud to help. See more pictures on Facebook.

Commandment 4: Promote your product or service

A good rule of thumb is the Rule of Thirds: a third about you, a third about your industry, and a third about your partners.

Never make a sales pitch as a means of introduction. Remember those door- to-door vacuum sales people? If you have an auto responder, that’s you online!

Homeshows

The Remodelers Council has added more value to its membership.

Every quarter the remodelers will have a booth at the Turner

Expositions Homeshow. The council members are bringing

awareness to TBBA Remodelers Council, promoting licensed

activity, as well as meeting potential clients and networking

among vendors.
