Often, districts have too many products to review and too little time to review them carefully. Research has shown that only 54% of the instructional materials that claim to be 100% aligned actually are. For that reason alone, districts, on average, have half a million dollars worth of unused instructional materials. Does yours? Presenters will engage participants in a discussion about effective practices to help districts stretch their IMA funds and avoid purchasing materials that ultimately go unused. Led by a multifirm team comprised of CFISD representatives, architects and engineers, this massive, fast-track project, encompassing 111 facilities, more than 5 million sq. ft. and approximately 2,100 acres was completed in 2.5 months and provided the foundation for the 2020 Vision Long-Range Planning endeavor.
