This presentation focuses on an actual implementation of an
asset management system utilizing RFID with an emphasis on
back office software that tracks assets. We will have Ed Wooten,
Purchasing Director from a client school district give his perspective. Areas of focus include: Selection: vendor and software implementation; Environmental study: including asset identifiers,
RF interference, wireless coverage, physical condition of assets;
Challenges Process Analysis: identifying - issues helped by RFID,
eliminating process steps, whether or not the staff is receptive to
change, process challenges, serial numbered assets /non-serial numbered assets, with versus without network connectivity,
re-assigning tags, and new schools vs. existing schools reports.

will take the audience from the beginning to the end: how to
invest in the market, how to manage the brokers offerings, how to
manage the investments through the construction time frame and
