Kilimanjaro is not only the highest standing
mountain in Africa, but is the highest free
mountain in the world. With its peak at 5,895
meters above sea level, this massive mountain
has five unique ecosystems. It contains three
volcanic cones named Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira.
This mountain is part of the Kilimanjaro National
Park, contributing to the tourism industry as a
major climbing destination.
