OPINYON Mayo 02-08, 2018 KWF inilunsad ang Patimpalak para sa Ulirang Guro sa Filipino 2018 MAYNILA-- Inaanyayahan ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) ang mga gurong nagtuturo gamit ang wikang Filipino na lumahok sa patimpalak para sa Ulirang Guro sa Filipino 2018. Ayon sa KWF, hangad ng patimpalak na makilala at maipagparangalan ang mga natatanging guro sa Filipino na nagpamalas ng angking husay, talino, at dedikasyon sa pagpapalaganap at promosyon ng Wikang Filipino at nakapagpamalas ng pagpapahalaga sa kultura, kaakuhan, at kayamanang pamana ng bansa. Dagdag ng KWF, guro ang pundasyon ng sibilisasyon, at sa ganitong pananaw nabuo ang patimpalak na Gawad Ulirang Guro sa Filipino. Ang patimpalak ay alinsunod sa layunin ng KWF na manghikayat at magpalaganap ng wikang Filipino sa pamamagitan ng mga insentibo, mga grant, at mga gawad. Kinikilala rin nito ang mga pambihirang gawain ng guro, sa mga anyong gaya ng akademikong ugnayan, saliksik, at pagpapalaganap ng wika upang mahikayat ang bagong henerasyon ng kabataan na kasangkapanin ang Filipino at iba pang wikang katutubo sa mataas na antas at tungo sa ganap na kapakinabangan ng mga mamamayang Filipino. Bukás ang patimpalak sa lahat ng gurong nagtuturo gamit ang wikang Filipino bilang midyum ng pagtuturo, maliban sa mga kawani ng KWF at mga direktor ng Sentro ng Wika at Kultura (SWK), at kanilang mga kaanak hanggang ikalawang digri (degree);. Bukod sa indibidwal na aplikasyon, maaaring magpadala ng nominasyon ang mga Tagapamanihala ng Paaralan, Prinsipal, at Pangulo ng kolehiyo/ unibersidad. Ang mga nais lumahok ay kailangang may hawak na kaukulang lisensiya, full-time at may permanenteng istatus; nakapaglingkod nang tatlo (3) o higit pang taon bílang gurong nagtuturo gamit ang Filipino at kasalukuyang nagtuturo sa anumang antas ng edukasyon at may antas ng kahusayan (performance rating) na hindi bababa sa Very Satisfactory sa buong panahon ng paglilingkod. Kailangan din na may makabuluhang naiambag sa mga saliksik pangwika at pangkultura ng rehiyon. (Bibigyan ng malaking puntos ang mga nagawang saliksik). Gayundin, kailangan din siyang nakapag-ambag sa pagpapalaganap at promosyon ng Wikang Filipino at kultura sa larangan ng pagtuturo sa kanilang komunidad sa pamamagitan ng publikasyon, seminar, pagsasanay, palihan, at iba pang katulad na gawain. Nanguna sa pagpapahalaga sa pamánang pangwika at pangkultura ng Filipinas kaagapay ng pagtataguyod at pagpapaunlad sa wikang Filipino at nakatanggap ng parangal at iba pang gawad kaugnay sa kaniyang propesyon (opsiyonal). MOCHA USON FOR SENATOR! By: MCRB RECENTLY, there are news spreading online about Mocha Uson’s plan to run as a senator. The news started to spread like wildfire after the statement of the President himself in his speech before the Filipino community in Hong Kong where he said, “Mocha, I think, is also running for senator.” And although Uson previously said in an interview that she is not planning to run as a senator, she also said that the only person that could change her mind and make her run in the elections is the President himself, and just recently she was able to receive the endorsement of the President’s daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, The President Himself, and Former President Gloria macapagal Arroyo. Margaux Justiniano Uson, or most commonly known as “Mocha Uson” gained her popularity as the leader of the Mocha Girls, an all-female dance group. She was known in the Internet for her voluptous body and sex educations on series of online videos. Mocha Uson was appointed assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was a key figure in the Duterte campaign and was popular among the long-time Davao City mayor’s supporters online. Her role is to help in relaying the government’s accomplishments and messages to Filipinos and to the media, However, she was accused by government critics of using the social media platform for spreading fake news. The transition of Mocha started from being a sexy star to a political blogger to a member of the Duterte administration. Truth be told, Mocha is qualified to run as a Senator, and by the law, anybody who is qualified can run as Senator, but, it does not necessarily mean that everyone should. Perhaps people would go against me for saying this, but I firmly believe that Mocha is not suited to compete as a senator. First, Mocha is not intelligent enough to be in the senate, I am not degrading her, but I am well aware that she does not have enough experience with the law and if ever she is appointed as a senator, She has a lot of things to work for or gain for herself, As of this moment, I see her working with great bias to some public personalities that she supports, unprofessional responses to issues, and abuse to fame.Truthfully, Everyone can learn the process but it takes a well-meaning and educated mindset with who can dedicate themselves to serve the people. Second, Mocha would just be a traditional politician who will be using direct means to help people such us giving aids or money one region at a time, she’ll be basing her movements on making the headlines to make a name for herself, unlike other politicians who influence the majority through the careful use of social engineering to benefit everyone. Third, she has been in politics for only a few months and haven’t even understood how governance in the local level works. She would just be another addition to make a recipe for disaster, we already Magkakaroon ng dalawang antas ng pagpili. Samantala, ang mapipili sa Pre-judging na susulatan ng KWF ay kailangan magsumite sa o bago ang 3 Agosto 2018 ng sumusunod: a) Rekomendasyon mula sa immediate superior ng kaniyang paaralan na naglalahad ng sumusunod: Katunayan ng kagalingan bílang guro sa Filipino o guro na gumagamit ng Filipino sa kaniyang pagtuturo na may makabansa at makataong kamalayan at Katunayan ng No Pending Case b) Kopya ng Performance Rating na hindi bababà sa Very Satisfactory (VS); Folio ng natanggap na gawad/pagkilala, kopya ng mga pananaliksik, publikasyon (aklat, journal, pahayagang pangkampus, atbp.) mga naisagawang seminar o palihan, mga nadaluhang seminar o palihan, at iba pang proyektong may kaugnayan sa wika at kultura. Kung nagtuturo ng ibang disiplina, ilakip ang mga patunay na nakapagtuturo gamit ang Filipino. Hal. modyul, banghay- aralin, silabus, pagsusulit, at iba pang kagamitang pampagtuturo nasusulat sa wikang Filipino. Sakaling sa KWF ang lahok, kailangang magsumite ng hard file copy ng mga dokumento at soft copy na nasa CD. Ipadala sa adres na nakalagay sa itaas. Kung sa tanggapan ng Sentro ng Wika at Kultura (SWK) ipadadala ang lahok, kailangang magsumite ng dalawang (2) hard copy file at soft copy file na nasa isang CD. Maiiwan ang isang kopya ng hard copy file sa tanggapan ng SWK. Iidinagdag ng KWF na isasama sa mga nominado ang mga nominasyon noong nakaraang taon (2017) na nag-update ng kanilang mga dokumento. Kung wala, hindi na ito isasama. Muling hinihikayat nila na muling magsumite ng mga lahok ang mga sumali noong taong 2014, 2015, at 2016 sa gawad na ito maliban sa mga nanalo na. Fourth, her blogs are ignorant and she spreads fake news. Although she could be admired for posting news that are not mainstream, she lacks the responsibility as she fails to cross-check facts before posting, and when she committed a mistake such as when she published a post that wrongfully slanders public figures, instead of posting a notice or apologizing, she responds with “Nagtatanong lang po.” Now, with all this reasons, the question now would be, If Mocha Uson really decides to run as a senator, will she win? With all the disappointment, the result would be clear and she will definitely be voted by the majority which means that she will be securing a seat in the senate. She has about 5 million followers on Facebook, with that number of supporters, and her appeal to some public personalities which is enough to give her recommendations, she definitely has a chance in the senate. Moreover, majority of the Filipino voters are uneducated, Uneducated voters are those who does not inspect a candidates qualification, someone who relies on name recall, and sadly, there are a lot of those people in our country. I know I can’t speak for the majority but if we are hoping for a better country, let’s look for better people that could do their jobs properly. I believe there are more qualified and more knowledgeable people in making laws and functioning properly as a Senator. Mocha is far too incompetent to take the job as a senator given her experience. Some people might attack me and say “Atleast si Mocha may nagagawa, ikaw wala.” Here’s the thing, let’s try to compare Mocha with a “Magtataho” and try to use the exact words that people say, “Atleast si Mocha nagtitinda nang Taho kahit asin ang nilalagay nya at hindi Arnibal.” See that? It sounds wrong, completely at that. I understand that Mocha has the passion but she still needs to be more knowledgeable to be more relevant or at least acceptable to her planned position. Let’s be wise voters, and start to make a change for once, I’m not saying that people should not vote for Mocha, I’m simply saying to look for better options and consider different posibilities, However, if thats how people perceived this article, then let it be.
