TECH CLASS

Students from our Design for Stage class , taught by Arts instructor David Hanright , transition from A Midsummer Night ’ s Dream set breakdown to construction for our next performance , gaining handson skills in lighting , set , stage , house management , props , sound , costuming , and make-up . Once finished , they began building the set for our spring musical , Mean Girls .

TAMS TURNS TA GREEN WITH ‘ SHREK JR .’

Last year ’ s Matilda the Musical Jr . set a high standard , but the 2024 production of Shrek The Musical Jr . met the challenge head-on .
In January , the lovable Ogre ' s tale delighted audiences with its blend of song and humor , ending with a rousing rendition of “ I ’ m a Believer .”
With a cast and crew of nearly 50 middle school students , featuring 7th grader Grayson Vire as Shrek , 6th grader Calhan Clark as Donkey , and 8th grader Aubrey Ranalla as Princess Fiona .
Co-directed by Arts & English teacher Katie Dube Buttarazzi ‘ 16 and Dance teacher Kristin Farwell , who also choreographed the show . Sarah Carrier , an Educational Technician and TA mom , crafted most of the costumes .
