A MODERN TWIST ON SHAKESPEARE
Shakespeare was on campus last fall , but not the same classic that you studied in your days at Thornton .
The TA Players presented a cooler , hipper production of A Midsummer Night ’ s Dream . This modern version was set in the 1960s , a time of peace , love , and tie-dye clothes .
A Midsummer Night ’ s Dream featured a student cast of 45 , with another 25 working behind the scenes . Many of the students saw this version at London ’ s Shakespeare ’ s Globe during a trip to England in June .
