not in conflict therewith, Pursuant thereto, the Nominating Committee
shall propose nominating procedures which shall be disseminated to the
membership at the January Mothers’ Meeting. The membership will approve
(by a majority of Members in Good Standing) the final nominating
procedures at that January Mothers’ Meeting. A slate of officers shall be
disseminated by the Chapter Corresponding Secretary at the March Mothers’
Meeting. Voting shall take place at the April Mothers’ Meeting. The Chapter
Parliamentarian shall serve as chairperson of this committee. The Chapter
Sergeant-at-Arms shall serve as vice chairperson.

The Sunshine/Welcome Committee shall assume responsibility for
maintaining collegiality, hospitality and good will among the Members of the
Chapter. This committee shall be responsible for planning all social events
of the Chapter (i.e. Family Picnic, Family Christmas Party, etc.) This
committee shall be responsible for sending remembrances (sympathy cards,
flowers, congratulations, get-well, etc.) to designated persons or
organizations in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the Chapter
Rules of Conduct and Procedure:

The Publicity Committee shall assist in the preparation of the Chapter’s
submission for “UP THE HILL”, and prepare information for press releases
and news articles as necessary. The Chapter Editor shall serve as the
chairperson.

The Evaluation Committee shall prepare evaluation forms to evaluate all
Chapter activities. The forms shall be given to the membership at the first
Mothers’ Meeting following the activity. The Program Director shall serve as
the chairperson.

The Grievance Committee shall manage the grievance process as outlined
the NPP (Grievance Process). Said committee shall be comprised of the
Executive Committee of the Chapter and Chaired by the Chapter President
(the Chapter Vice President if th e Chapter President is the subject of the
grievance). This Committee shall only be convened as needed.
12.
The Protocol Committee shall work to enhance all events within the
Chapter. It shall address proper protocol for meetings, fundraisers, gifts,
courtesies, invitations and special situations. Specifically, it shall advise the
Chapter to ensure compliance with ceremonial procedures; educate members
on the importance of protocol; assist Members with Jack and Jill of America,
Inc. traditions and proper protocol observances; provide support to
Members to ensure proper protocol for officer visits; annually review the
protocol section of the National Member Manual and make
recommendations to the Chapter in accordance therewith. The Protocol
Chairperson shall serve as chairperson of this committee and shall be
appointed by the President. It shall be the duty of the Chapter Protocol
Chairperson and the Protocol Committee to:
