The Budget and Finance Committee shall assume responsibility for
preparing and reviewing the annual budget for the Chapter. The Chapter
Treasurer shall serve as chairperson.
5.
The Membership Committee:
a.
The Chapter Vice President shall serve as chairperson.
b.
Shall assume responsibility for orientation and initiation of
prospective members and prepare a ballot for the election of new
members
c.
Shall maintain records of the following: (x) meeting attendance and
excused absences, (y) conferences/area workday attendance, and (z)
financial obligations of all members
d.
Shall review requests for membership to determine eligibility
e.
Shall communicate with prospective members of the organization,
process all membership applications, and report to Chapter
Executive Committee on the membership intake process.
f.
Provide a procedure for managing child absences from Age- Group
Activities and Member absences from Mothers’ Meetings and other
required activities.
Maintain an updated Membership Directory for use by the Chapter
for official distributions and contacting the Membership.

The Fundraising Committee shall be responsible for the development and
implementation of fundraising strategies and activities. The Foundation Chair
shall serve as chairperson and shall be appointed by the President. It shall be
the duty of the Chapter Foundation Chair and the Fundraising Committee
to:
a. Make recommendations of ways in which the Chapter can support the
Chapter’s fundraising efforts and Foundation (see Appendix A).
b. Shall explore worthy local charities and projects for the Chapter’s
financial support and participation

The Nominating Committee is responsible for managing the biennial
nomination and election of Chapter officers. The Nominating Committee
shall be composed of five (5) members, one from each age group (Article
III, Section 1(C)(2)), as elected by a majority of the Members in Good
Standing at the November Mothers’ Meeting. The Chapter’s election
process shall be governed by the National Nominating, Campaigning and
Election Procedures in conjunction with any Chapter procedures that are
