Be bonded by an approved bonding company approved by the National
Organization, in an amount to be determined by the National Organization

The Chapter President will serve as an adjunct member of the Membership
Committee to ensure a smooth transition through the culminating event - the
"Induction Ceremony".

Shall receive and review all grievances, and shall use her discretion in the
management of grievance matters pursuant to the National Grievance
Procedures (Appendix C).

Elected for one term (2 years), but may serve no more that 2 consecutive
terms (4 years).

Vice President. The Chapter Vice President shall:
1.

During the absence of the Chapter President is vested with the power to
perform those duties listed in Article IV, Section 6(D).

2.

Manage and foster a spirit of growth and nurturing within the membership

3.

Serve as the chairperson of the Membership Committee (hereinafter
defined).

4.

As chairperson of the Membership Committee the Chapter Vice President
shall appoint, with the consent of the Chapter President, seven members to
the Membership Committee. Of the seven appointments, three of them shall
include the Chapter Vice President, the Chapter Financial Secretary and the
Chapter Program Director.

5.

Confirm the eligibility of Members to run for elected office as requested by
the Nominating Committee.

6.

Confirm a Member’s standing (upon request by the Regional/National
Organization)

7.

Shall, in her capacity as chairperson of the Membership Committee, send the
names of the newly elected officers to the National office no later than June
15th.

8.

Shall maintain a membership status file on all members.

9.

Shall hear (x) all complaints or reports where Members have failed to fulfill
their obligations, (y) all complaints or reports where Members have proven
otherwise disloyal to the Chapter and its objectives, or (z) membership
matters that are subject to Involuntary Termination (except those based on
grievances submitted to the Chapter President). She shall review said matters
