Election of chapter officers shall be held no later than April 30th of each year.

Election of Chapter officers shall be by secret ballot.
4.
The election process and procedures shall be managed and outlined by the
Nominating Committee (Article V, Section 2(A)(7)) of which the Chapter
Parliamentarian serves as the chairperson, and the Chapter Sergeant-at-Arms
as the vice chairperson. The process and procedures (beyond those provided
by the SWSDRCP) shall be submitted to the Chapter membership no later
than February 28th to be approved by the membership no later than March
31st.
Section 2:
A.
Appointed Officers
The appointed officers of the Chapter shall include but not be limited to:
1.
Parliamentarian
2.
Sergeant-at-Arms
3.
Foundation Chair
4.
Chaplain
5.
Associate Chairperson (non-voting Member)
B.
An appointed officer who fails to fulfill the duties of her office shall be removed
from office by the Chapter President.
C.
Term of Office: Unless specifically excepted herein, all appointed officers shall serve
for one term (2 years), but no more than two (2) consecutive terms (4 years).
D.
Appointed officers shall not hold a National Office while serving as a Chapter
officer.
E.
Appointed officers shall perform the duties prescribed in these Bylaws and other
duties applicable to the office as prescribed in the Parliamentary Authority adopted
by the Organization.
F.
All Appointed officers must remain Members in Good Standing for their complete
tenure in office or be subject to removal from office and possible Involuntary
Termination of membership.
G.
Eligibility Requirement(s): An appointee must be a Member in Good Standing
Revised Section 2(A) on 5/17/11.
